Helping Support LGBTQ Youth when they lose the Support of their Families |
It's an all too familiar story when a teenager comes out of the closet or is unwillingly outed and their parents react in the unbelievable way of cutting off contact and financial support. The Stonewall Fund aims to create resources at College and Universities nationwide to provide financial support to these LGBTQ youth when they find themselves cut off from their families. Not only do these funds keep this young people safe, but it helps them stay in school and get an education. We aim for all young LGBTQ youth to have a fighting chance, regardless of the ignorance or hatred in their home communities.
